Back With Baxter!

I will be back on the drum kit for two-time Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame inductee, Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, this August. We’ll be performing songs from his latest solo album “Speed Of Heat” as well as Steely Dan and Doobie Brothers classics. Check the SHOW DATE page for ticket info. Hope to see you there!

Brain-Dead Now Online!

This Josie Pace song, Brain-dead, was released last year but only on the CD. As of today it’s now available on all download and streaming platforms. I’d have to say this was my favorite tune I recorded with Josie. It was most definitely my favorite to perform live. Especially the big ending where I got a chance to stretch out on the drums. It was a challenge to not push the tempo when you have Josie screaming bloody murder with more and more intensity every measure. It reaches an insane level of energy and my chest always felt like it was about to explode. Not sure what she’s saying but I don’t think you need to understand French to know she’s pretty pissed! LOL
Enjoy!

Jeff “Skunk” Baxter Tokyo, Japan

The Jeff “Skunk” Baxter band recently toured Japan. It was an amazing time. The crew was impeccable and the audiences were amazing.  Here’s a video from our last show of 6 performances in Tokyo.  Mr. Baxter thought that my voice would be suitable for the lead vocal on a song called “Insecurity” from his recently released solo album “Speed of Heat”.

Josie Pace on Vinyl

I’ve been doing this music thing for a long time so I don’t get a lot of “firsts” at this point but… for the first time, my drumming is on vinyl. For those who know how much of a vinly enthusiest I am… it’s a pretty big deal. Thanks Josie Pace, Ken Roberts, Negative Gain, and all involved. One of the most challenging records I’ve ever been involved in making but it was certainly worth the effort.
