DRUM EQUIPMENT
At my studio in Burbank, CA I primarily use my DW Purple Core Exotic Collectors Series drum kit. Designed with VP of DW, John Good, and the Drum Workshop team of experts, this Brazilian Purple Heart/Michigan Cherry hybrid was built specifically for recording and does not disappoint. Other kits include a DW Maple Collectors Series, DW Performance Series, over a dozen snare drums of various makes and models, extensive cymbal collection, and access to any drum gear necessary to fulfill the sonic requirements for the project.
I’m running these amazing instruments through a collection of high end mics, mic pres, outboard EQ’s, compressors, limiters, and audio interfaces to deliver the best sounding files of the perfect drum and percussion performance for your original music.
