Getting some great press lately including a nice write up in Mix Magazine for Alloy Tracks.  Alloy Tracks is a sound design company founded by Troy MacCubbin. I’ve been working with Troy for the last couple years producing original songs like “Cold Outside” as well as contributing sound design cues for our film trailer audio library. It’s been a great year for us as our material has found it’s way into trailers for “Furious 7,” “Avengers: Age of Ultron,” “Terminator: Genisys,” “Poltergeist,” “Tomorrowland,” “Mad Max,” “The Fantastic Four,” “SPY,” “TED 2,” “Jurassic World,” “Entourage,” “Ant Man,” “Mission Impossible 5,” “Insidious,” “Sinister 2,” “Everest,” “The Peanuts Movie,” “Black Mass” and “Crimson Peak,” among many others.

Buck-E system returns! Check out this electronic instrumental I just released called The Hunt. Drums, bass, guitar, synths, & mixed by yours truly with additional synth production by Ken Roberts.

I had the pleasure of not only performing with R&B artist Michael Cartwright and his fantastic group of musicians on this live performance recording but also mixing the EP. It was a great night to be documented at The Mint in West Los Angeles. Buy it now on iTunes.

I recently joined Montreal’s Cafeine for a one time performance on a Winnebago. Jam in the Van is kind of a big deal. Everyone has played the Van! Lenny Kravitz, Blues Traveler, Gary Clark Jr… the list goes on. Check out the video!

Facing Arrows, a great LA rock band I’ve been producing a record with, was asked by AVID to take part in a video to demonstrate their new audio interfaces. It features a song called Crossfire that will be on the new CD to be released this year.

A lot of time was spent in the studio this year writing, recording, producing. (Photo in Studio A at Henson in Los Angeles, CA). All the hard work will pay off as all of this material will hit early 2015. All original material from Facing Arrows, Los Angelics, my work with Troy MacCubbin of Alloy Tracks, and Cleanse.

Yes, new Cleanse songs are on the menu with a bit more R&B influence this time around. Anyone that’s familiar with the project knows that Ken Roberts and myself always like to include list of special guests. This photo is from a recent session in Hollywood, CA with Denise George (Warren Cuccurullo) and Durga McBroom (Pink Floyd, Culture Club) tracking backing vocals for a song called “Lost with Love”.

A busy summer it’s been indeed. So many great shows with great players and wonderful audiences. I spent two weeks on the road in the midwest with Laith Al-Saadi in July. Click on the pic for a live video clip from Bliss Fest 2014 in Northern Michigan.

Then it was back to LA to play some shows and continue working on new music with Los Angelics.

Throughout the year I’ve be co-producing the Facing Arrows record, slowing chipping away at the recording process, scoring string arrangements, and assisting Marc Desisto on the final mixes. Looking forward to the record to be released later this year.
